Seamus Gill was honoured to be elected to the board of the Company of Goldsmiths of Dublin. The company which was established in 1637 overseas the assaying and hallmarking of precious metals in Ireland. As is traditional and as was done by all previous members over the years, he was sworn in, placing his hand on the bible dating back to 1637.
